Lawan who frown at the misleading supposed security alert reported by a government official challenged such appointee to ensure he liase widely before issueing statements which can throw the state on fire noting that the issue at hand relate to witchcraft not communal clash which of not tackle on time should have been disasterous.

“The attention of my office was drawn to a misleading supposed security alert circulating on the social media suggesting violent tribal or communal clash in lamurde local government area.

“While dismissing the false alarm, I wish to categorically state here that, the incident that happened was purely an allegation of witchcraft  by a woman which resulted to the killing of six people she accused of the act and NOT communal clash between waja and lunguda.

I wish to call on all and sundry to disregard the claim and go about their legitimate endeavors as the present Governor Fintiri’s government is working assiduously to ensure the security and well being of its citizens”.Lawan advised.
