Yobe YITDA Disassociates Self From Training/Empowerment Excercise
By Usman Bello, Damaturu.
It has come to our attention that a training and empowerment opportunity circulating on social media platforms may not be affiliated with the Yobe State Government or the Yobe State Information Technology Development Agency (YITDA). We urge individuals to exercise caution when providing sensitive personal information to the organizers of this program.
The Yobe State Government and YITDA wish to inform the public that they have not collaborated with the organizers of the aforementioned training and empowerment initiative. As such, we cannot verify the legitimacy of this program or vouch for its credibility.
In light of this, we strongly advise Yobe citizens and all individuals interested in participating in such programs to be vigilant and refrain from sharing personal or sensitive information, including but not limited to financial details, identification documents, and other private data, until the authenticity of the program has been duly verified.
Furthermore, the Yobe State Information Technology Development Agency is actively seeking to engage with the organizers of this program to ascertain its authenticity and ensure that it is not misleading or defrauding the citizens of Yobe State. We are committed to safeguarding the interests and well-being of our citizens, and we take any potential instances of fraud or misinformation very seriously.
We encourage all concerned parties to exercise due diligence and verify the legitimacy of any training and empowerment initiatives before participating. If you have any doubts or concerns regarding the authenticity of such programs, we recommend contacting the relevant authorities for clarification and guidance.
The Yobe State Government and YITDA remain dedicated to promoting genuine opportunities for the empowerment and development of our citizens, and we are committed to safeguarding the integrity of such endeavours.
We thank you for your attention to this matter and urge the public to remain cautious and discerning when engaging with offers of training and empowerment circulating on social media and other platforms.
