There are time when we make history and there are time when history make us.

Politicians will always have one of their own because Buni was born and bred by politics, imagine becoming a ward councillor at a very tender age and when the NRC and SDP were birthed.

History will never be complete without mentioning Buni, because he is among those who ushered in the current political dispensation and was also the pioneer Yobe state chairman of the Action Congress (AC) and later the All Nigerian Peoples Party (ANPP) who are both legacy of APC.

Buni’s miraculous performance lends credence to why we should appreciate his courage, sincerity and convictions of purpose, his personality in rising to the sacred state and his past national duties.

Today everyone can see his report card, he has scored extremely well, he has shown prudence especially in the use of mega resources of his state and past assignment as the caretaker chairman of the ruling APC, when he brought back lost sanity to the party and his system of carrot and stick approach in settling the aggrieved party members who left over one problem or the other, he is gifted with anointing of settling dispute, especially when you’ll lend him the listing ears, known as chief Reconciliator of modern day politics.

He is very quite, very peaceful not a noise maker, but a silent achiever, only his outstanding performances makes the round noise.

Gov. Buni’s positive attitude are infectious, he deserves every bit of success in exhibiting his obliged duty.

His destiny was decided on how involved he was in each moment of his political journey through the maze, he live in the present, i just like the waves in the ocean there will always be ups and downs but he always scale through. The wise said ” Nothing in this life is guaranteed” but we know and believe he has the ability, technicality, consistency, professionalism and experience to thrive in each phase of his service delivery mandate.

A true leader is not someone that follows the crowd, but creates a following of people that shares the same idea, vision that is aligned with.

Buni is never a searcher of consensus but a molder of consensus, that is why he is known to be an astute manager of people because of his inclusiveness in leadership. He so much believed in the rule of the people, for the people and always by the people that’s what made him unique among leaders.

So far, he has proved to be the best leader and public servant when it comes to service delivery mandate, a level headed person who is beyond reproach, who comes on board as a consensus builder and one man who will never improve himself at the expense of the masses.

Making war on ideas is far removed from making war on people, because ideas possess no existence apart from the minds of people. Those who seek to kill ideas-rather than debate them, advance them or debunk them- are killers of humanity….

Buni’s sweetest dreams somehow always seem to evade him at the moment he needs them.

Whether it is government, organization or individual making peoples life better, the common trait of quite achiever, according to Scott Graham, is not that ” they achieve results quietly (obviously) they deliver with fuss, they solve problems and deliver solutions, they are innovative and above all, they inspire people.

Gov. Buni will never accede to being duly recognized across the political landscape of Nigeria, but he prefer to work hard in silence and let his tremendous achievements make the round noise.
