Police Arrests 4 for store breaking,car theft in Adamawa.

The Adamawa State Police Command has apprehended four (4) suspects for alleged business store breaking, theft and car snatching in two separate incidences.
Spokesman of the Command, SP Suleiman Nguroje disclosed the developments through press releases issued in Yola Wednesday indicating that, on the 22 January.2025 two criminal suspects ; Musa Isah 24years, of Doubeli Chochi Street and Abdullah Tanimu 18 years, of Luggere Jimeta, who specialize in store and house breaking to steal were arrested.
Nguroje stated that the suspects were arrested after breaking into a shop of Tijay Zirah located around Luggere around 3 am and stole valuable items worth thousands of naira which were recovered in their possession.
In a sperate press release made available to the media in Yola yesterday, the command revealed another arrest of two man gang of car snatchers including Yusuf Mohammed Isah, 25 yrs, a resident of Wuro- Hausa,Yola South and Faisal Mahmud,30 yrs old, resident of kolere ward, Mubi North council for alleged car theft.
“The breakthrough followed an investigation launched on December 23, 2024, after a report was filed by Mr. Aliyu Umar of Wuro Hausa, Yola South Local Government Area. According to Mr. Umar, his Toyota RAV4 with registration number RSH 548 BB was stolen.
“Acting on the directive of Commissioner of Police CP Dankombo Morris, a team of detectives led by SP Habib Muhammed Musa, the DPO of Yola, successfully tracked down the suspects and recovered the stolen vehicle.
“The arrested suspects are: Yusuf Mohd Isah, 25, a resident of Wuro Hausa, Yola South and Faisal Mahmud, 30, a resident of Kolere Ward, Mubi North.
“Both suspects are currently in custody, aiding the ongoing investigation, which is expected to lead to further recoveries.
“The Command assures the public that a thorough investigation is ongoing, after which the suspects will be charged to court to face the full wrath of the law as this milestone underscores the Command’s dedication to protecting lives and property across the state”. The release maintained
