KNSG committed to improve Triumph Newspaper –SA

The Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to Kano State Governor on Print Media, Hon. Akibu Shehu Haske has paid a familiarisation visit to the headquarters of Triumph Publishing Company Limited at its location at Sheikh Nasiru Kabara Housing Estate along Zaria Road in the metropolis.
The Senior Special Assistant, who was conducted round the company’s premises by its Acting Managing Director and Editor-in-Chief, Malam Muhammad Hamisu Abdullahi, expressed delight with its performance.
He said he was delighted to see the staff of the publishing firm all on their duty posts.
Hon. Haske noted that the organization only needed a little push to continue with its service delivery effectively.
He said his visit to the organization would allow him to advise the state governor, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf appropriately on the next line of action to take to bring more improvement to the outfit.
The SSA urged the staff of the company to redouble efforts in doing the needful to keep the flag of the firm flying in terms of information dissemination, entertainment and enlightenment.
He also urged them to maintain the tempo of giving much publicity to activities of the state government, under the able leadership of Engr. Yusuf for better understanding and support among the citizens of the state.
On his part, the Acting Managing Director and Editor-in-Chief of the company, Malam Abdullahi, appreciated the efforts of the visitor for the visit.
He solicited the support of the governor’s aide in bringing more development to the company.
He told the governor’s aide that if supported well, the company would continue to perform to the best expectation of the society.
Malam Abdullahi said the publishing house served as a training ground for students. of tertiary institutions and universities, undergoing mass communication courses across the nation.
He said the company used to receive corps members under the National Youths Service Corps (NYSC) scheme for their one-year mandatory service to the nation.
He assured the SSA of the company’s support towards discharging his responsibilities for him to succeed in that direction.
