2026 New Year: Governor Fintiri Tasks Nigerians On Love, Forgiveness

Adamawa State Governor, Rt. Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri CON, has congratulated citizens of Adamawa State and Nigerians for entering the new year 2026.
Governor Fintiri called on Nigerians to imbibe the spirit of forgiveness, love, reconciliation, and re-dedication to the service of God and humanity in 2026.
He noted that “If all Nigerians carry the spirit of accepting each other as one, the year 2026 will be peaceful and less challenging.”
In a Press statement Sign by Chief Press Secretary to the Governor Humwashi Wonosikou on Wednesday said governor Fintiri urged Nigerians to reflect on their blessings over the past year and give God all the glory for witnessing another year.
He thanked Adamawa State citizens for their support over the past six and a half years, assuring them that Government will continue to support them in their efforts to achieve their goals.
Governor Fintiri emphasized that despite past challenges, Nigerians should be optimistic, praying for recovery and progress. He highlighted that synergy between Government, private sector, and citizens can overcome Nigeria’s challenges, creating growth opportunities.
The Governor reassured the people that his Government will build on past achievements through investing in security, intelligence, and preventive measures to curb crimes.
He commended the sacrifices of security agencies in keeping the peace.
Commitment to human capital development, the Governor said through youth and women empowerment, and entrepreneurship schemes remains unwavering. Physical infrastructure construction, including Legacy Projects, will continue in all senatorial districts.
