50 Women Train On Home Making, House Keeping Operational Etiquettes in Adamawa

Fifty (50) women from Adamawa southern senatorial constituency have been trained and empowered on home making and house keeping professional etiquettes.
The two day intensive training was conducted in Numan local government area on the 11th to 12th November 2024 by the centre for management development in collaboration with B-Tech Global investment and services LTD
In his remarks, an official of the Centre, Dr. Ibrahim Baba explained that the training was being undertaken to the six geopolitical zones in the country with a sole aim of empowering self reliance to womenfolk.
Baba said that the federal government initiative was designed to inculcate more occupational skills for enhancement of family services noting that dedication and developmental milestones recorded by Senator Binos Dauda Yaroe in his southern senatorial district attracted the attention to this constituency in the state and zone.
Baba expressed confidence that, the skills impacted on the participants are of global standards which would contribute in the development of the homes, society and occupational services.
While appreciating Senator Binos for securing the program to his constituency, He charged the participants to spread the knowledge gained to the larger members of the society for wider coverage.
Addressing the participants, Senator Yaroe enjoined them to reciprocate the gesture by being committed in using the knowledge judiciously with a view to transforming their economic and social status as mothers in the society.
Represented at the occasion by Hon. Katawan Boniface.Yaroe advised the participants to handle their empowerment packages with every sense of patriotism and dedication and to also step down the training to other women in their various Local Governments.
Delivering her goodwill message, vice Chairperson of Demsa local government, Hon. Amsam Thaddeus lauded the efforts in being instrumental to the training affirming that, the intervention was first of its kind in the zone which made the 50 selected women to be ‘very privileged’ to be part of this training.
Speaking on behalf of the participants,
Mrs Sawe Omega Ndwakan assured the Senator and the training team that, they will put newly acquired knowledge to good use for the benefit of all.
Our Correspondent reported that, the two-day training had participants from all nine local government areas within the constituency, including Numan, Lamurde, Demsa, Guyuk, Shelleng, Mayo-Belwa, Jada,Ganye and Toungo respectively.
