Just in : Gov. Buni Appoints Alhaji Abubakar Emir of Tikau

His Excellency, Hon Mai Mala Buni, The Executive Governor of Yobe State, has approved the appointment of Alhaji Abubakar Muhammadu Ibn Grema as the new Emir of Tikau.

His appointment was based on the unanimous recommendations of the king makers of the Tikau
Emirate Council.

Alhaji Abubakar Muhammadu lbn Grema is the eldest son of his late father Alh. Dr. Muhammadu Abubakar lbn Grema, the late Emir of Tikau.

Alhaji Abubakar Muhammadu Ibn Grema has a Bachelor of Agric Economics & Extension, Bayero
University Kano, Msc Agric Economics ( Applied Econometrics, Development and Resource Economic) and Phd (inview) Rural Development.

He is currently Principal Manager, Yobe State University Farm.He has attended various courses which include training on Environmental mpact Assessment, Ecosystem International Limited, Lagos Nigeria and Health and Safety Training/induction, University of Reading Safety Unit, Berkshrine, United Kingdom.

In a statement signed by Secretary to the State Government Baba Malam Wali MNI, the appointment takes immediate effect.
