Protest? Poor-taste!

..To wage a rage instigated protest is to rake the famished, impoverished of their wealth…

…Who are the conveners? Sponsors? What uncritical covert conspiracy?

…Are the politicians backing the intended barking going to donate themselves and children to publicly join the biting of the government? What government? Federal, State and/or both?…

Adamu Muhammad Dodo

They ignore the popular clergymen, clerics’ call, condemning it as religiously clueless, commending honest in dishonesty politicians contributing to the call against the anti protest advocates.

We ask; are the politicians backing the intended barking going to donate themselves and children to publicly join the biting of the government? And what government? Federal, state and/or both? Or it’s a mere mischievous call aimed at deceit to further suffocate the poor?

An international human rights organisation, I’m told, called on the Nigerian government to not suppress but support the rights to protests against it. How sensible?

We ask; is the international rights group, if truly has made the madness a call, going to ensure she safeguards the public facilities, properties and private businesses from wanton looting?

What is the aim of the protest, to pull down the government, to end democracy, to be replaced by who, with what?

Are the protesters purely prepared to face the post protest challenges; more poverty, hunger, diseases and death resulting from anarchy?

There’s already the popular call pointing out the poor-taste of the protest as tested elsewhere; both the federal and state governments have answered the call to be proactive against the insurgency leading to anarchy in waiting to wage rage.

Hasn’t the citizenry taken lessons from End-SARS-looting? We do not support the worst repeat.

Schools aren’t closed. It’s the rainy season, the no lazy, no no future ambition youth have been to farm. Markets are opened for the hardworking citizenry. What’s the protest for and why now when insurgency in the northeast, kidnapping, banditry in the northwest and central and other forms of criminalities in other parts of the country were hitherto not visited by such rage running protests?

“We have no other country than Nigeria”, the Arab spring isn’t fascinating or fashionable to adopt the experience. It should not be smuggled in; the Monday rage should be dead before dawn. PEACE a piece against the planned protest.
