An indigene of Zamfara State, Fahad Adamu Gusau, has described the interview granted by the State Minister of Defense, Bello Mutawalle to Channel TV as the wailing of an indicted criminal gasping for innocence.

Mutawalle who is the immediate past Governor of Zamfara State was accused of bedeviling the state with both insecurity and economic, ruined the state with a lot of debts but now appeared to shift blames to the current Governor, Dauda Dare.

Fahad in elder statesman in Zamfara said Mutawalle’s interview was more of a child’s play; he struggled with no facts to present and end up painting himself a Man with no sense of communication.

He said Mutawalle disgraced himself and the people of Zamfara State that a Minister and a former Governor cannot speak good English to convince Nigerians that his hands are clean of the many Killings in Zamfara by Bandits.

Fahad who is a concerned citizen and followed both the administrations of Dauda and Mutawalle closely; saying the former Governor is the problem of the State while Dauda has over the years proven innocent and is focused to serve the state well.

He cleared Dauda of Mutawalle’s allegations of being a ‘dubious’ Man. According to him Dauda has proven to be above board, and there’s no record of maladministration seen by the people of Zamfara.

He said the interview had indicated that Mutawalle had succeeded indicting himself by not giving the right answers to questions raised by the journalist.

“When he was asked how how much he received during his four-year tenure, he only responded that go to the ministry of finance or the accountant general of the federation. The records are there.

“All through his response to the journalist, he was not responding to questions raised, he was busy struggling and stammering because he was guilty of all the crimes committed against the people of Zamfara.

“I’m just having a way of replying Mutawalle in my own way to understand that he exposed himself more on the many allegations raised against him than proving a point to defend himself, and it is high time he faces the truth of the many Killings of innocent his hands are deeply blooded with.” He said

To Fahad said Mutawalle accused Dauda to have failed to provide fertilizer on the contract he was awarded to was a way of dodging the crux of the matter.

According to him, the main issues in Zamfara are insecurity ,kidnapping, and Banditry, an unfriendly economy caused by Mutawalle’s regime.

He challenged Mutawalle to indict Dauda of his dubious character else he will go to any length and expose his own many more dubious activities of his past and present records of his dealings with private, public, individuals, and international organizations.

“Dauda is on record he built business empires and people to serve humanity over the years. We knew him before Mutawalle knew politics, He has been serving the country, especially the people of Zamfara State in many areas.

“Dauda in the Banking sector is a household name. In the act of kindness and humanity is an examplery. For Mutawalle to address him as dubious, I think is just too ignorant to know what is means to be dubious. In actually Sense, he is the dubious person because he has failed to tell Nigerians the whereabout of billion of Naira got missing during his four years tenure as a Governor.” Fahad said
