Borno State Correspondents’ Chapel lauds Zulum for appointing one of its member as Spokesman

The Corespondents’ Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUj), Borno state council has applauded Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno state for appointing one of its member as Special Adviser on Communication and Strategy/Spokesman.
The Correspondent Chapel in a statement signed by its Secretary, Alh. Ismail Alfa said ” On behalf of Comrade Inusa Ndahi led Exco and Members of the Correspondents’ Chapel of NUJ Borno State Council, we would like to extend our profound gratitude and appreciation to the Executive Governor of Borno State, Professor Babagana Zulum for appointing one of us, Comrade Dauda Iliya as the Special Adviser on Media and Communication Strategy.”.
“The choice of Comrade Dauda Iliya is a well thought decision, considering his wealth of experience, hard work and dedication to duty, and above all, a team player in the field of journalism profession” the statement said.
The Chapel said the leadership and vision of Comrade Iliya, while steering the affairs of the NUJ Borno State Council, have been an inspiration to journalists, and that they are confident that he will replicate it and excel as Special Adviser on Media.
The statement further said ” we want to assure your Excellency and the new spokesman of the continued support and the cooperation of all members of the Correspondents’ Chapel to this administration.”.
While wishing Comrade Dauda Iliya the best, we Correspondents Chapel also said ” we want to assure that, our doors are always open for support and advice and we urge you to take on this new assignment as a trust, challenge and a call to duty. As one of us, we believe you (Comrade Dauda Iliya) has all it takes to impact positively and deliver on your mandate in the present administration in the State.”
