Yobe @ 32: Gov. Buni has taken service delivery to new level
By Yusuf Ali, Damaturu
Today is 26 August, 2023. As we celebrate the 32nd anniversary of the creation of our beloved Yobe State today, we appreciate the sacrifices of those from the past who laid the foundation upon which we stand.
We also appreciate the last four years of the Gov. Buni’s administration, first term which have seen Yobe flown by, with astonishing progress, and one enduring constant in the passing years has been his unwavering commitment to selfless and patriotic service.
We must commend the several interventions and efforts of the present Buni administration for working even harder to provide basic social services that the people need and make the state grow stronger, including healthcare, education, agriculture, infrastructures and security.
Indeed, Gov. Buni has now taken this to a whole new level doing so much more with little resources. The governor is not only opening new frontiers in service delivery; he is significantly opening up the state for more business through partnership that succeeds.
Under Gov. Buni, Yobe is now growing from leaps and bounds as truly the ‘Pride of the Sahel’. But there is still more work to be done, as the room for improvement they said, is the biggest space in the world.
As he consolidates on the second term, Gov. Buni will continue to keep to his oath of office in making Yobe a better place for all. He has put his hands on the plough working for the growth and development of Yobe in all its ramifications and there is no looking back, forward EVER and backwards NEVER Insha Allah.
May Allah guide and bless him. May our dear Yobe State continue to be a better place for all.
