Pipe Borne Water: Reticulation Should Reflect Adamawa Metropolitan Structures – Residents (I)
…The Gongola rusted metal pipes need be replaced with the current rubber type
…Between infrastructure and education, water supply
…Even private schools do not operate two sessions alternately: morning for primary and afternoon for secondary schools programmes – using the same capacity structures…
..There’s security in education with skills acquisitions; healthcare with potable water, reducing cost of living
..Ignorance compounds everything – IBK
Adamu Muhammad Dodo
Areas of great concern, considered less attractive to have incurred leadership bashings in Adamawa state are education in general and provision of potable water; both are tied to security, experts would articulate.
The Fintiri led government has been receiving commendations based on political will to address the outlawed youth, a.k.a ‘Yan Shila challenges, suffocating the metropolis with their threat to peace activities to have been non-existent had it been that the Baba Maimangoro skills acquisitions initiative and social welfare programmes introduced by former governor Murtala Hammanyero Nyako were not phase-out with his impeachment.
Under the ramp robbery at flyovers, especially at the Lamido Aliyu Musdafa flyover between airport and capital secondary schools among other seeming nocturnal places, have been addressed – even though the Shila boys have advanced their nefarious activities from tricycle to using Peugeot 206 to hoodwink the gullible and stranded passengers at night seeking for transport back home, especially to Kofare area; where Fresh Air buses are not allocated to ply the route – kidnapping for ransom is now risky for the criminals than their actions against the good people; the pre-harvest crazing challenges around Numan federation and other parts of the state are also diplomatically and administratively addressed, kudos.
The savagery and barbarity defined as Godlessness in the jahiliyya zeitgeist was inestimable when Allah Most High decided for the mercy unto mankind, Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him, to shine the light in the darkest Arabia with knowledge – IQRA! – could crudely be explained to mean RECITE! READ! STUDY! SEEK FOR KNOWLEDGE, BE EDUCATED, to establish and strengthen ISLAM, to mean PEACE without which worship would be endangered.
Any religion and/or any government that gives serious attention to the followers or citizenry to be enlightened, educated, to acquire knowledge eventually attains moral success, progress and prosperity, the otherwise lies in failure, retrogression, threat to peace, unease and general insecurity; “build worshippers before considering building worship places, because the worshipers built on strong faith will eventually build for themselves the worship places as the Hausa language will have it that – ka kafa masallata kafin gina masallaci, don kaffafun masallata su za su koma gina masallatai don sallah da salati a ruwan sanyi.
There is no better time to declare a state of emergency on education than presently when ignorance begets insecurity.
Cleanliness it is said, is next to godliness; there is no worship without purification, which is also unattainable without adequate clean water as much as the well-being will be threatened by lack of adequate water, which is the most fundamental in the art of living, I need not relate to you the story of how Zam Zam in Arabia came to be.
To be continued…
