Adamawa Police Command Arrests 2 Suspects For Murder Of Inspector

The Adamawa state Police Command has arrested two people in connection to alleged killing of a police Inspector.
Disclosing the development in a press release, Spokesman of the Command,SP Suleiman Nguroje said that the slain Inspector Ibrahim Mai Zabuwa attached to Gombe state Command was killed and buried by the suspects.
Sp Nguroje stated that the suspects, Ezekiel Kefas, 67 years and Stephen Zabadi, 44 years of Wamsa Suwa village in Lamurde local government area were apprehended on the 19th November 2024 after receiving complain by the deceased’s son,Danlami Ibrahim Mai Zabuwa.
“The suspects have on 11/11/2024 conspired, isolated, killed and buried the victim who visited them in their village to demand for the return of his three cows which he gave the first suspect to use and boost his farming activities.
“In the course of investigation,the suspects took detectives of Anti Homicide unit of the Police Command to a shallow grave of the deceased where the corpse was exhumed for autopsy.
“Commissioner of Police, CP Dankombo Morris condemned in strong terms such act and deployed security to arrest and bring those on the run to book.
“The Command remains steadfast in its commitment to ensuring deligent prosecution”.The release maintained
According to the release the suspects were five in number as two were arrested and are helping police with useful information on the matter.
