APC N/East nat’l vice chair empowers 5000 @ birthday celebration in Adamawa

No fewer than 5000 people have been supported with cash donations and empowerment packages by the North East Zonal Vice chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC.Comrade Mustapha Salihu in Adamawa state.
Celebrating his birthday in Yola Tuesday, Comrade Salihu expressed gratitude to his supporters and reiterated his commitment to serve the people in his state,zone and the country at large.
Salihu who was noticed visibly elated at the occasion stated that as a way to given back to society, he decided to provide scholarship support to 2000 students and to empower another 3000 with cash donations.
While announcing scholarship support to another set of 250 students in the state, Salihu reiterated his commitment to do more for his people stressing that this edition was third in the series of his proposed empowerment program.
Some patients receiving medical attention from hospitals including Fofure Cottage Hospital, Modibbo Adama Teaching Hospital, Girei Cottage Hospital, and Yola Specialist Hospital benefitted from the gesture.
The event also served as a platform for distributing cash donations to women, youth, and physically challenged individuals across Fofure, Yola North, Yola South, and Girei Local Governments.
Speaking at the elaborate occasion,the state Organizing Secretary of APC, Com rade Mustapha Atiku Ribadu applauded the celebrant for his unwavering commitment to humanity and education.
Ribadu said that, Salihu’s efforts span across the Adamawa Polytechnic, Federal College of Education, Federal Polytechnic Mubi, and other institutions.
“He does this not for recognition but for the sake of God and the betterment of society,” Ribadu stated.
In his remarks, Former Speaker of the Adamawa state Assembly,Hon. Kabiru Mijinyawa, highlighted Salihu’s long-standing support for widows, orphans, and physically challenged persons through the provision of food items and other essentials.
The birthday colloquium was attended by prominent political figures, including the Adamawa State APC Chairman, Barr. Idris Shuaibu, members of the State House of Assembly, and a host of women and youth groups.
Most of the invitees who spoke at the occasion viewed the intervention as a testament to his role as a trailblazer in Adamawa politics and a shining star of Nigeria’s future.
