Adamawa Senator facilitates FG’s support of over 1,000 bags of fertilizer to Constituents

Senator Binos Dauda Yaroe of the Adamawa Southern Senatorial District in partnership with Alkaf Global investment Resources Limited and Border Commun ities’ Development Agency(BCDA) have distributed one thousand,one hundred bags of fertilizer to farmers in Adamawa state.

Speaking at the distribution ceremony of the fertilizer in Mayo-belwa local council, weekend,Senator Binos Yaroe expressed delight with the gesture from the Agency, BCDA stating that the effort aimed at boosting farming activities in the southern region in the state.

Senator Yaroe who was represented by his side,Mr. Boniface Katawan said that his determination to uplift the livelihood of his constituents remain the driving force in the political representation given to him by the people of his senatorial zone assuring to accord them a sense of belonging through his programmes.

He pointed out that his collaboration with Alkaf Global Investment Resources Limited is yielding positive results for the benefit of his constituents recalling the numerous empowerment programmes and distributions that were successfully carried out in partnership with Alkaf firm as a dependable partner.

In their separate remarks, representative of Border Communities’ Development Agency (BCDA), Mr Stephen Daniel and the chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Alkaf Investment limited, Mrs Bilkisu Ibrahim hailed Senator Binos Dauda Yaroe for his selfless service to the people of Adamawa South, where he described Senator Binos as the best Senator in the red chamber.

Mrs Ibrahim, disclosed that 1,100 bags of fertilizer have been distributed, with eight (8) of the LGAs getting 120 bags of fertilizer each while Mayo-Belwa LGA gets 140 bags of fertilizer, making the total of 1,100 in whole.

They therefore called on the people of Adamawa Southern Senatorial District to support Senator Binos Yaroe to enable them reap more democracy dividends and good representation at the red chamber.

Representatives of the 9 LGAs, shortly after receiving 120 bags of fertilizer each for onward distribution to the intending beneficiaries, expressed gratitude to Senator Binos and his collaborators for the kind gesture.

Some of them(representatives) who spoke include; Dauda Wilson from Jada LGA, Elishama Thomas from Shelleng LGA and Abubakar Audu from Toungo LGA assured the Federal government through the Agency (BCDA),Senator Binos Yaroe,as well as Alkaf Global Investment Resources Limited of fairness and transparency in the distribution process.

Similarly, a special package of ten (10) bags of fertilizer were allocated to each of the five (5) first-class chiefs in the Adamawa Southern Senatorial District as a sign of recognition and appreciation to the royal fathers for their efforts in the promotion of peaceful coexistence in their respective domains

Daily Hint Correspondent reported that, the 1,100 bags of fertilizers shared among the nine (9) benefitting local government areas in the southern senatorial zone were NPK and UREA products under the project tagged ‘LoT :(B311) BCDA 2025 Capital Project’ with a need to meet the plights of the hoe-masters as a lifeline for yielding prospect bumper harvest in the state.
