Gov. Buni to Flag Off Distribution of 50,000 Bags of Grains to Vulnerable Households in Yobe
By Yusuf Ali
Yobe State Governor, Hon. (Dr) Mai Mala Buni, CON, will flag off the distribution of 50,000 bags of grains to vulnerable households across the state. This initiative is part of his administration’s intervention to ease economic hardship for farmers and families during the pre-harvest season.
The flag-off ceremony is scheduled to take place at the August 27th Stadium in Damaturu, with beneficiaries representing all 17 local government areas. The program is designed to cushion the impact of rising food costs and support communities until the new harvest is fully realized.
Arrangements have been made to ensure the distribution process is both transparent and fair, guaranteeing that aid reaches those who need it most.
Through this and other programs, the Buni administration continues its commitment to uplifting the people of Yobe, strengthening the agricultural sector, and ensuring the state’s food security.
