2027 : Youth group endorses former Commissioner Bakari Girei for Governor in Adamawa.

With the political activities gearing up towards 2027 General elections,a youth group under the auspice Adamawa state Youths Forum has urge the leadership and stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress, APC to endorse former Commissioner of local government and chieftaincy Affairs,Hon.Salihu Bakari Girei to view for the position governor in the forthcoming elections.

Chairman of the group,Umar B.Yakubu disclosed the position of the group at a press conference in Yola Monday calling on the leadership and stakeholders to adopt a people oriented personality like Dr Bakari Girei to handle the affairs of the state come 2027.

Yakubu remarked that the Youths Forum, representing vibrant voices from across the 21 Local Government Areas of the State, convene here today to express our profound gratitude to our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) and to solicit for realization of the candidature of Dr.Salihu Bakari Girei for unwavering commitment to progress and unity.

‎“When something is good, it is worth talking about.” Today, we gather to draw the attention of our party leaders to view the 2027 gubernatorial race with the eyes of wisdom and strategic foresight.

‎”We know capability when we see it. We present to the APC leadership a tested, trusted, and proven leader: Dr. Salihu Bakari Girei; the ideal candidate to reclaim Adamawa State from the opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

‎‎”The APC cannot afford to gamble with 2027. We have seen the risks of disunity and indecision. From 2019 to date, internal party squabbles have cost us dearly, Bakari Girei is not a rookie. He is already made, thoroughly cooked, and a complete breed of leadership.

“Bakari has Proven administrative competence, Unmatched grassroots mobilization structures in every local government,Massive cross-sectional support cutting across ethnic, religious, and political lines and a track record of delivering results in public service and community development.
