Gov. Buni Appoints Acting Chairman of State Electoral Commission, Special Adviser

His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Yobe State, Hon. (Dr.) Mai Mala Buni, CON, has approved the appointments of Alhaji Ibrahim Yabani as Acting Chairman of the Yobe State Independent Electoral Commission (SINEC) as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the State Independent Electoral Commission, enhancing its efficiency, transparency, and credibility.
This move underscores the administration’s commitment to promoting democratic governance and deepening grassroots democracy across Yobe State.
In the same vein, Governor Buni has also appointed Alhaji Mamman Musa as Special Adviser on Radio, Television, and Digital Communication.
According to the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), both appointments take immediate effect.
