Gov Uzodimma raises hope for Tinubu’s re-election
By Hussaini Ibrahim
UMUAHIA, ABIA STATE — Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma, has expressed confidence that the economic reforms and policies of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will make his re-election in the 2027 general elections “easy,” Daily Hint can reveal.
Uzodimma, who serves as the Director-General of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA), made the declaration during the inauguration of Abia State RHA members and the commissioning of the group’s new headquarters in Umuahia, the state capital.
Represented by the Minister of State for Employment and Productivity, Nkeiruka Onyejiocha, the governor urged members to carry the message of the administration’s achievements to every part of the state.
He emphasised the importance of feedback from citizens, noting that “messages from the people will enable the government to understand how best to serve them.” Uzodimma also congratulated Henry Ikoh, the state coordinator, and other members for being “found worthy to serve.”
The occasion, which drew a large crowd, was described by the Abia State APC chairman, Kingsley Ononogbu, as “a dawn of a new beginning for the state.”
“It is a display of reaffirmation of our collective belief in visionary leadership and responsible governance under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and a commitment to a better future for Nigeria,” Ononogbu said. He added that the state chapter of the APC would partner with the RHA to ensure that government policies and reforms “do not remain distant initiatives.”
Other speakers at the event, including Emeka Atuma, Paul Ikonne, and Nkechi Nwoagu, urged APC members across Abia to actively support the RHA’s mission.
Christopher Enweremadu, a zonal coordinator and former Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly, assured that the RHA would work to ensure the success of every APC candidate in the state during upcoming elections.
Henry Ikoh, inaugurating the members, highlighted the need for continuous engagement, stating that although the APC has “taken firm root in the state, members must work harder to consolidate awareness and strengthen support for the party.”
