Gov Buni set to unveil new motorpark in Tarmuwa

YOBE STATE — Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, is set to inaugurate a newly constructed motor park in Garin Babangida, headquarters of Tarmuwa Local Government Area, Daily Hint reports.
The project, executed by the state government, is designed to strengthen transportation infrastructure and stimulate commercial activities within the community.
The modern motor park features multiple shops, administrative offices for staff, a mosque, designated passenger waiting areas, structured loading bays, and public conveniences.
Officials told Daily Hint that the facility is expected to ease vehicular movement, enhance internally generated revenue, and create a more organised and secure environment for commuters and transport operators.
Residents who spoke to Daily Hint welcomed the development. One trader, Aisha Ibrahim, said, “This motor park will make it easier for us to move our goods and attract more customers. It is long overdue.”
Another resident, Malam Sani Umar, added, “I am excited about this project. It will reduce traffic chaos and make commuting safer for everyone in the community.”
A young commuter, Yakubu Musa, noted, “With proper waiting areas and loading bays, travelling will now be more comfortable and organised. I hope it is well maintained.”
Overall, residents expressed optimism that the motor park would boost economic activities in Garin Babangida and surrounding communities.
