Digital Africa is one of the Africa’s biggest digital conference hosted in Abuja Nigeria at Reiz Continental Hotel and is being supported by Federal Ministry Communication and Digital Economy, National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), Nigeria Communication Communication ( NCC), Pan- African Payment and Settlement Systems (PAPPS,) Engaged TV, Digivation, Compumetrics solution among others .
This year’s theme is Artificial Intelligence and Africa, is taken deliberately to determine how seriously are African countries taking in this new revolutionary technology ?
We must migrate from analogue to digital , driving the process is very necessary for us to survive in the ecosystem of Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Until many players understand the Artificial Intelligence (AI) or else we will not utilized or harness it effectively for the National Development.
Artificial Intelligence can be everywhere , in crime detection , construction, medicare , traffic control , education , agriculture, Revenue generation and even distribution of foods and non foods items including distribution of palliative can be effectively done through Artificial Intelligence by INGOs , Government, Individuals and private sector
Government at all level, Federal , States, Local Government Areas and other critical Stakeholders must work towards overcoming key challenges of promoting Artificial Intelligence in our society.
Introduction of coding and digital literacy at all level .
Investment in Artificial Intelligence by States Government, Local Government and members of private sector.
To see Artificial Intelligence as a tool of collaboration not as a tool of bringing unemployment to the youths.
Artificial Intelligence AI is exponential , it is left for us to be analogue or digital.
Remember according to Prof Isa Ali Pantami, the Former Minister for Communication and Digital Economy said SKILLS RATHER THAN JUST DEGREES
