Palliative: Gov. Buni distributes foodstuffs to 6,400 vulnerable households in Gaidem

The Governor of Yobe State, Hon. Mai Mala Buni CON, today, Sunday the 24th of September 2023, distributed food items to the sum of six thousand four hundred vulnerable households across 19 clusters in 10 wards of Geidam LGA of the state.
This is in line with the governor’s commitment to cushion the hardships people suffering following the removal of fuel subsidies.
Daily Hint learnt that the beneficiaries included persons with disabilities, multi-ethnic communities as well and women respectively.
Recall that, on 30 August, the governor approved the distribution of 20k food baskets to six thousand eight hundred households in Potiskum Local Government Ares of the state.
