Following the reception of the award from the Arewa Youth Forum, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Poverty Reduction Agency Barrister Sa’adatu Yanusa Muhammad held a staff meeting with her team.
The purpose of the meeting was to rally the staff members and encourage them to continue their dedicated work in support of the leadership of His Excellency, the Executive Governor, Dr. Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto who had shown immense kindness and support to them since the beginning of his tenure.
During the meeting, the Special Adviser expressed her gratitude to the staff for their hard work and highlighted the positive impact they had collectively made on the lives of the people in Sokoto State.
She emphasized the need for their unwavering commitment and dedication to the cause of poverty reduction and urged them to continue supporting the initiatives and policies of the Executive Governor.
The Special Adviser Sa’adatu acknowledged the generosity and support they had received from the Governor, and she encouraged the staff to reciprocate by redoubling their efforts to improve the lives of the people in Sokoto State.
She urged them to remain proactive, innovative, and compassionate in their approach to tackling poverty and ensuring the well-being of the vulnerable communities.
Furthermore, the Special Adviser announced a new development to enhance efficiency within their agency.
A biometric attendance registration system was installed to keep track of the employees’ attendance and working hours. This system aimed to streamline operations, ensure accountability, and facilitate effective monitoring of staff performance.
In line with this, the staff were registered into the newly implemented biometric attendance system, which required their unique identification and verification. This technological advancement would not only improve the agency’s organizational structure but also promote transparency and strengthen the overall work culture within the organization.
The meeting concluded with a renewed sense of purpose and commitment among the staff members.
They left the meeting inspired to continue supporting the Executive Governor in his endeavors to improve the lives of the people of Sokoto State.
The installation of the biometric attendance registration system further instilled a sense of accountability among the staff, ensuring that their efforts were accurately recorded and contributing to the overall success of the Poverty Reduction Agency.
