By Haruna Yusuf.
Knowing it’s time for change is half the battle won, some people never get that far, you already know what needs to be done, set fire and courage on the things you wish to create, but don’t rush the process, be patient with yourself, it took time to make this mess and it will take time to clean it up. Take a deep breath and just keep moving forward.

You can’t lead the people, if you don’t love the people, you can’t save the people, if you don’t serve the people..
Gov. Buni’s positive attitude and personality are infectious, he deserves every bit of success in exhibiting the national assignment, the road always seems long and tough in the beginning, but, since Buni put his feet on the peddle, APC becomes a journey that Nigerians will remember for a long time.
His destiny was decided on how involved he was in each moment of his political journey, he lived in the present. I just like the waves in the ocean, there will always be ups and downs in exhibiting his obliged duties.
The wise said” that nothing in this life is guaranteed” but we know and believe Buni has the integrity, expertise, skills and experience to thrive in each phase of his service delivery mandate.
With all modesty, one political truth about Mai Mala Buni, the national chairman of the ruling all progressive congress (APC) and Yobe state Governor, is that, he is a man gifted with a high degree of intelligence, experience, charisma and steadfastness needed to ascend to the height of the progressive. However, with political insight, he is a leader with unquestionable principle and an astute manager of people, whose journey through the maze of Yobe & Nigeria politics indicates that, though he may have been or still is the most charismatic and industrious servant, his sweetest dreams somehow always seem to evade him at the moment he needs them the most.
Buni’s antecedents stem from the beginning of his political career as a ward councillor at a very tender age, where he began and rose rather rapidly through the political atmosphere of his dear state Yobe to the position of national secretary of the ruling political party in Nigeria. The All progressive congress (APC) is a political party in Nigeria, formed on 6 February 2013 in anticipation of the 2015 elections.
Mai Mala Buni is bold and willing to show the world what he has achieved in the task to chart the critical path to total political and economic emancipation of the people from the grip of PDP in the 2015 general elections and remained a thorn in their flesh.
These is, therefore another great opportunity for Buni to lead APC to the progressive they’re known to be, because of his rare courage of conviction and sense of purpose. His documentation of years in a constraint office as the national secretary of the ruling APC is a timely service to democratic history in Nigeria.
Loyalty is what Buni takes seriously, because, loyalty is everything whether it’s a friendship, relationship or a Boss. Putting your trust in someone and being loyal to them is something that is rare this days, and hard to come by. Loyalty is the most powerful weapon in Buni’s arsenal.
Men make history and not the other way round, in periods where there is no leadership, society stands still, progress occurs when courageous, skillful leaders seize the opportunity to change things for the better. No institution can possibly survive if it needs geniuses or supermen to manage it, it must be organized in such a way as to be able to get along under a leadership composed of average human beings.
Buni is heard saying he went into politics because he believed that committed purposed driven servant and that leadership can provide people with the tools that will empower them control over their destines. Throughout Buni’s adult life, he has strived to uplift his society, he has contributed to national development by fighting oppressive governments to a standstill in 2015, we can say without being immodest that he has dedicated his life, whether as a private or public citizen, to making lives of people more abundant. Yobe is where his heart lies, and this is the time as the democratic elected Governor to restore the dignity of Yobe people. The time to also put APC back on the path to absolute greatness, it is also time as the ruling all progressive congress chairman to lead APC to the progressive, it is the right time to act against 2023.
Mai Mala Buni’s new vision and philosophy of leadership, intrinsically ideological speaks volume and presents a systematical roadmap towards building and reshaping to a greater and progressive APC party. Nigerians believed that Buni who had emphasized that there is work to be done, has the requisite political experience, vision and commitment to take APC to greater height.
No one can go back in time to change what has happened, so let’s work collectively on the present to make APC and Nigeria a wonderful future for our children and children to come.
The reason so many people misunderstood many issues, is not that these issues are so complex, but that people do not want a factual or analytical explanation that leaves them emotionally unsatisfied……
” Mystical references to ‘society’ and its programs to ‘help’ may warm the hearts of the gullible, but what it really means is putting more power in the hands of the Bureaucrats” Thomas Sowell.
