S/Court Verdict : Fintiri’s victory for more development to all . Dep. Gov. Farauta

The Adamawa state Deputy Governor, professor Kaletapwa Farauta has described the supreme Court ruling affirming the election of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri as the validly elected Governor in the last 2023 general elections as ticket by Adamawa electorate to bring more devidends of democracy in the state.
Recall that the Apex court in Abuja on Wednesday in it’s judgement ruled in favour of Governor Fintiri on the appeal filed by his contender and the All Progressives Congress,APC governortorial candidate,Aishatu Dahiru Binani contesting the INEC declaration of Governor Fintiri as elected Governor despite loosing at the tribunal and Appeal courts respectively.
Professor Farauta made the disclosure in Yola yesterday while addressing journalists over the victory stressing that the judgement had further proven to the world that the Adamawa electorate truely gave Governor Fintiri their mandate in the last 2023 election.
Farauta appealed to the opposition to come forward to join hands with Governor Fintiri in the Adamawa project for the overall interest of the electorate.
“We are here as one big family to say thank you to the people of Adamawa state for standing behind us as a government in all the legal voyage which turn out to be victorious.
“We also thank the judiciary for standing firm and doing the right thing or insisting for the truth as being the last hope of a common man.
“It is time for governance now with the supreme Court ruling,it is all over now as a confirmation that our state (Adamawa) is bigger than any individual.So, we are calling on all and sundry to support and pray for Governor Fintiri’s administration for more developments”Farauta stated.
She also urge the citizenry in the state to pray fervently for the success of the Fintiri led administration noting that it is only when there is peace and harmony that development strives.
The Deputy Governor Farauta who was noticed visibly excited during the briefing was being flanked by the SSG,Hon. Awwal Tukur, Chief of staff to the Governor,Edgar Amos, Speaker state Assembly,Hon.Bathiya Wesley and host of other government functionaries.
