Adamawa Police Command nabs a four man armed robbery sydicate, recovers stolen valuables.

A gang of four(4) suspected armed robbers terrorising residents of Ada mawa state and its environs have b een apprehended by police in the state.
Spokesman of the command,SP Su leiman Nguroje disclosed the development through a press relea se issued in Yola yesterday reveal ing that the deadly armed robbery suspects stormed the residence of
Hon. Muhammed Sadiq Wali, the Commissioner ministry Ministry of Environment attacking and robbing him of his Toyota Hilux and other Valuable items.
Nguroje said the incident occurred on Sunday’s wee hours where the said Commissioner was physically assaulted at gun point by the arrested gang members in his residence at chiroma street in the ancient city of Yola.
The suspects were arrested by police detectives attached to Girei Division and recovered a Toyota Hilux, Barreta Pistol, three live ammunition, two anti-trackers, Five Handsets, foreign Currency, and other identification cards belonging to the commissioner.
“The four suspects were arrested on the 12/2/2024 by a Combined team of Police operative attached to Girei Divisional Police H/quarters after attacking the House of Hon. Muhammed Sadiq Wali Honourable Commissioner ministry Ministry of Environment, Adamawa State and Robbed him of his Toyota Hilux and other Valuable items.
“The Suspects arrested were;
Mustapha Muhammed, 47yrs a resident of lelewalji, Girei Local Government, Isha Adamu,55years, a resident of Tudun Wada, Sokoto State,Salihu Buhar, 38years, a resident of Garwa, Cameroon Republic and Abdullahi Abubakar, 35years, a resident of Garwa, Cameroon Republic.
“Interestingly, all the items stolen from the Victim’s residence were recovered”.The release confirmed.
While advising the public to be vigilant about their environment and report suspicious movement to security, Nguroje assured that the Suspects will be Prosecuted in accordance with the Extant Laws.
