Disaster Response: Governor Buni Delivers More Support

Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni CON has directed more support to communities affected by communal clash.

The Governor emphasized that with relative peace across the communities recovery and return requires basic life saving support.

Five communities in Gujba and one in Gulani were affected by communal clash which resulted in displacement of over 119 households as shown below

GUJBA LGA AFFECTED COMMUNITIES:

1- Garin Gabas – 27 HH

2- Shenge village – 18 HH

3 – Ba Malum village – 17 HH

4 – Tadandara – 20 HH

5- Daddewel – 15 HH

GULANI LGA

1- Maimala village – 22 HH

Beneficiaries will recieve first line life saving support while effort is intensified in rebuilding thier homes and finding lasting solution. Normalcy has return and communities are doing thier basic life activities.

Items delivered include

1- Grains(50kg)

2 – Veg.Oil(5lits)

3 – Salt

4 – Blankets

5 – Poly Mats

6 – Buckets

7 – Wrappers

8 – Cooking Pots.

More support will be delivered within available resources.
