Gov Buni confirms safety, welfare of all Corps members in Yobe state

The Yobe state governor, His Excellency, Hon Mai Mala Buni has reiterated government commitment to ensuring security and conducive environment for the corps members deployed to the state.
He disclosed this today at the swearing in of the 2024 Batch A stream 1 Corps members, at the NYSC orientation camp, Dazigau.
The governor who was represented at the Honorable commissioner for Youths, sports and social Development, Hon Barma Shettima charges them to see the exercise as a clarion call aimed at strengthening their capacity to contribute to overall development of their immediate environment and the nation.
Buni congratulated them for their success so far in life, emphasizing that realization of the objectives of the scheme, is panacea to meaningful peace and progress of the country, achievable through individual and collective contribution of the corps members.
Yobe state government in line with the present administration, will continue to play its parts to ensure and encourage the realization of the beautiful objectives of the scheme for the betterment of the state and nation, he adds.
I will again like to reiterate the commitment of government to accord top most priority to the welfare and security of Corps members in any part of the state. I have directed all security agencies and community leaders not to rest on their oars in ensuring a conducive environment is created for all to thrive.”_
