Governor Buni Distributes Foodstuffs To Disable Women In Damaturu

Yobe State Governor, Hon Mai Mala Buni, has directed SEMA to periodically support PLWD and other vulnerable populations within available resources.
DAILY HINT learnt that a cluster of females living with disabilities was targeted in Damaturu LGA.
According to the governor, this timely intervention is necessary during the Lean Season amidst harsh weather and economic challenges.
The beneficiaries were carefully selected by the Network of PLWDS through their cluster leaders.
Each beneficiary received a food basket, and beneficiaries were enjoined not to sell any item.

Blind Cluster
Physically Challenged
Deaf Cluster
Spinal Cord.
While delivering the items, Executive Secretary of SEMA Dr Goje Mohammed, informed the beneficiaries that this and many more initiatives as Directed by Governor Buni will continue across the state within available resources.
