Adamawa Senator extend Ramadan palliatives worth millions of Naira to constituents.

In the spirit of brotherhood for the month of Ramadan fasting, Senator Binos Yaroe of Adamawa Southern Senatorial zone has reached out to his constiuents with food and non food items worth millions of Naira.
Items distributed includes; 4,856 bags of parboiled rice, 2,000 bags of sugar, 2,000 packs of spaghetti and 246 gallons of groundnut cooking oil which were targeted for less privileged and vulnerable across the nine (9) local government areas in the Constituency.
Represented during the distribution held in Mayo-belwa local government area weekend by Hon. Adiyel Kurga, Senator Yaroe said that the gesture was to ease the hardship at the rural communities in the blessed Holy month of Ramadan.
Hon.Kurga explained that each political Ward across the 9 LGAs was entitled to 50 bags of rice to be shared among the aged and the less privileged irrespective of political and tribal backgrounds.
He reiterated that to ensure smooth facilitation of the commodities to all the Wards across the 9 LGAs, a sum of N2.4 million naira was provided to the local council Coordinators for logistics to enable them carry the items to the targeted beneficiaries without much ado.
In his words, “People have been passing through difficult situations in this country due to the high cost of living, especially now that people are fasting.
“The Senator decided to come to the aid of his constituents with these palliatives in order to reduce the hardship in various households at the grassroots”.Kurga added.
Responding on behalf of her people, the Coordinator for Jada LGA, Hon. Yosi Isaiah Leru, expressed gratitude with the support stressing that, the effective mechanism put in place in sharing the items made the process transparent in nature.
While commending Senator Binos Yaroe for the kind-hearted gesture, Hon. Leru assured him of transparency in the distribution process saying “Each of the 9 LGAs have three Coordinators that will oversee this distribution with the back up of Coordinators in each of the Ward plus Unit coordinators across the 9 LGAs.
“By so doing, we believe since everybody is involved, these items will trickle down to the people at the grassroots. All the items are shared equally among all the 9 LGAs according to the number of Wards. In Jada LGA for instance, we have 11 Wards, by calculation, we are having about 550 bags of rice”.She stated.
In their separate responses, the Coordinators of Guyuk and Shelleng local government areas, Raymond Robinson and Hajiya Maryam Isa Shelleng noted that Senator Binos has always identify with his constiuents in thin and thick .
They attested that Senator Binos as a grassroot politician stand tall in the political landscape of the state and at the Senate for always striving hard to get what belongs to his constiuents.
While thanking Senator Binos Yaroe for taking upon himself to ensuring the less privileged and the vulnerable across the rural communities benefit from these palliatives, the Coordinators assured the people of justice and fairness in the distribution process.
