Adamawa Youths celebrate Nigeria’s 64th independence anniversary in style.

As Nigerians celebrate this year’s 64th national independence anniversary,the youths in Adamawa state have charged the leaders to use workable solutions in addressing the multiple challenges facing the country .
The youths who were their numbers dressing in a green white green clothes dropped the charge during a peaceful walk from the Unity flyover to the main gate of the Federal secretariat in Yola Tuesday charting solidarity songs and waving customized national flags .
In her remarks at the venue, Hauwa Adamu Garba of the Patriotic Ambassadors Network expressed gratitude to God for showing Nigerians this year’s nationhood anniversary celebration saying every Nigerian have cause to celebrate.
Garba stressed that despite the hardship facing Nigeria as an entity,there is need to come together to take stuck of the achievements, prospects and challenges facing us with a view to addressing them as a country.
Garba urged the youth to steadfast and focus in their endeavors in making the nation proud and to learn more leadership skills from the leaders steering the affairs of the country.
Another member of the Network, Adamu Mohammad said that the anniversary calls for sober reflection among the people.
Mohammad stated that the youth who cover 64% of the population of the country needs to be productive and calculative in the Nigeria project so as to drive it to the promised land.
Addressing the audience at the federal secretariat,Convener of the peaceful walk Yakubu Umar Girei said that the event was a product of Adamawa concerned youth groups advocating for the growth and well being of the country.
Umar Girei opined that, occasion of Nigeria’s 64th independence anniversary calls for sober reflection, and deep introspection in our turbulent journey as a nation
Girei said that, It gives us another reason to thank our Creator for his bountiful mercies in view of the fact that we are still thriving as an indivisible nation despite the gloomy projections of naysayers and enemies.
He observed that, While other countries have fallen by the wayside, the unique resilience of the Nigerian nation and the spiritedness of Nigerians kept us waxing stronger and stronger.
He added that, It is a fact that no nation including the most advanced democracies are immune to the challenges of nationhood. Nigeria has had a fair share of such challenges and successes in the last six decades.
“When Nigeria got its independence in 1960, save for the relics left behind by our colonial masters, Nigeria has close to zero infrastructure and social investment. In the last 64 years, Nigeria has built a robust infrastructure and invested heavily in the social service sector culminating into the establishment of educational institutions, health facilities, roads and so on.
“it is pertinent for me to restate the abiding faith I have that Nigeria’s will overcome the present socio-economic challenges as our president is not sleeping on the matter and is working round the clock to ease the hardship Nigerians are currently going through.
“It is worthy of note to state that the fiscal reforms instituted by this administration are manifesting in economic resurgence, and social welfare improvements across Nigeria in various sectors.
Glossing through the positive reforms being instituted by the Tinubu administration, The Convener Girei said it is our fervent hope that the challenges currently being faced by the common man will soon fizzle out and Nigerians will see light at the end of the tunnel.
