Again, Residents Laud Buni Over Mass Roads, Drainage Constructions Across Yobe

Pleased with numerous road and drainage constructions across books and crennies of the state, people especially rural dwellers have described the efforts of the Yobe State Governor H.E Hon Mai Mala Buni CON, COMN as key to improving their living standards across all levels.

A cross section of people who spoke on the government efforts towards providing access roads said the Governor’s mass roads and drainage constructions did not stop at urban but the rural and semi urban areas of the state.

Modu Wakilbe and Nana Sulaiba of Karasuwa local government said the governor’s gesture has not only touches the headquarters of the local government but also local communities.

“We have felt the impact of the road projects executed by the governor geared towards networking the towns and villages of the state with roads in order to ease transportation of people and goods.”

Also, Modu Modu and Bala Audu of Bade and Ngalda of Fika local government areas said, “A good number of the projects have been completed, others at the various levels of completion while some were just started.

“We are proud that Chumbusko-Tagali road project which will benefit people of Karasuwa and Bade local government have been executed,” Modu stated.

Residents of Kukuri, Chukuriya, Dawasa and some parts of Damaturu town also expressed joy for having the projects at their communities.

They specifically thanked H.E Governor Mai Mala Buni CON COMN for giving their communities huge concern which led to construction of roads and drainages in their areas.

A Visit to some of the projects sites by the information unit of the state ministry of works, revealed that the project are people’s orientated.

Roads and Drainages projects currently ongoing as well as completed in Damaturu include, two roads and drainages at three Bedroom Gujba Road, Pompomari linking Nana Aisha bye-pass with Sabon kwalta of Pompomari through Kangale Faya, A road and drainages at Benkalio Housing Estate, shoulder and potholes refurbishing at Old Bra-Bra Housing Estate Damaturu among others.
