By Hassan Anchinai
Under the leadership of Governor Mai Mala Buni CON, the state within these five (5) years has seen the initiation of several key projects that hold immense potential in addressing the challenges posed by current economic fluctuations.
These projects, even though many, once completed, are expected to stimulate market growth, create employment opportunities, and boost agricultural production. By expanding the state’s value chains and generating sustainable income streams, these initiatives are set to drive significant socio-economic advancement.
One such project focuses on infrastructure development to support improved market connectivity, thereby enhancing trade and commerce within and beyond the state’s borders. Additionally, investments in skill development programs and entrepreneurial support are aimed at empowering the workforce and fostering economic diversification.
Furthermore, initiatives to modernize agricultural practices and promote agribusiness in this first term of second tenure, are set to enhance productivity and ensure food security, consequently contributing to overall economic resilience.
The recent employment of fifteen (15) NCE Holders and graduates in each of One Hundred and Seventy Four (174) Wards of the state, has boosted the state’s workforce and has reduced unemployment drastically.
