Banditry: Defense Ministry Procured War Helicopters – Defense Minister

The Nigeria Defence Minister for state Bello Muhammed Matawalle has said that the ministry of Defence has procured some war Helicopters and other fighting equipments, to fight banditry, insurgency and other criminal activities in the Country.
The minister gave the hint today to journalists at his residence in Maradun local government area of Zamfara state, saying that in a couple of time, the act of all sort of Criminalities will be over.
According to the minister, few days after their swearing in as ministers, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu gave them matching order to ensure that the country is out of act of Kidnapping, Boko Haram in North East and other parts of the country.
Bello Muhammed Matawalle added that he has inspected all the military equipments provided by the Federal Government to security personnel most especially the Army.
“I assure you that within limited time the issue of insecurity would be history, because very soon our military will commence manufacturing their weapons in the country.
“Therefore all what our ministry needs has been given to us by Mr President, even in the supplementary budget our ministry has been given due consideration than any other ministry, so I see no reason why we will not work hard to complement our president’s efforts in fighting insecurity.
“So now what Mr President needs is to get positive results and the results have started coming out as I am talking to you our military are in the north east fighting insurgency.
The minister also disclosed that very soon the two of them and all the service Chiefs will pay a visit to all the military personnel outfits, and those at war front to put more grease to their elbows.
