BREAKING: Jubilation As Modular Refinery Finally Commences Operation In Nigeria, Produces Over 600M Litres

Daily Hint gathered that a refinery located in Imo state has commenced operation in the country to contribute to solving the problem facing over 220 million citizens.
The refinery, located in Imo State, is already producing over 600 million litres of various products and dispatching 20 trucks daily.
The federal government of Nigeria has praised the Waltersmith Modular Refinery for its contribution to meeting Nigeria’s energy needs at a crucial stage.
The Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Oil), Heineken Lokpobiri, who visited the refinery, stated that he was “very proud” of what he saw. He noted that modular refineries were the “shortest way” to address Nigeria’s energy problems.
Lokpobiri said, “The refineries that are state-owned are still under rehabilitation, as the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, it is my responsibility to ensure that there is sufficient supply of petroleum products pending the resumption of refining activities in the nation’s refineries.”
Lokpobiri promised the owners of modular refineries of continue support and that the government would do whatever it could to help them succeed.
The NCDMB Executive Secretary, Wabote, also expressed his delight at the success of the Waltersmith Modular Refinery.
He stated, “WalterSmith Modular Refinery produced over 600 million litres of various products from this refinery. About 20 trucks leave the refineries daily.
“We have gone round and you can see that the refinery is working. We are very happy it is successful. Usually, it is not every investment that you participate in that comes out successful.”
