Despite the many odds he had to face, Governor Mai Mala Buni has shown that he remained undeterred in making the lives of people better.
Being a leader is much harder than it looks nowadays. It’s not easy at all. Especially If one is like Governor Mai Mala Buni – who wants to leave a legacy of making an impact, then one has to dealt with whole lots of problems both natural and manmade.
In recent times, anybody that have seen Governor Buni closely knows that he is visibly disturbed apparently by the myriad of challenges facing the state that demand collective efforts from all and sundry to transcend political affiliations and work together.
The impact of these security and environmental challenges extends beyond the disruption of thousands of lives, impeding economic growth and deterring crucial investments in the state.
The recent acts of terrorism in Mafa, Tarmuwa local government, resulting in brutal killings of innocent residents, are deeply distressing. The massive flooding that washed away roads, farmlands, bridges and displaced thousands is enought to give the compassionate Governor a sleepless nights.
However, despite these numerous challenges, the administration of Governor Mai Mala Buni CON is undeterred to make Yobe better in the months and years ahead Insha Allah. This is because, we have a leader who understands the nuances of challenges and how to overcome them.
Under Governor Buni, the state government remains focused towards fulfilling its promises of delivering people-oriented projects that will have positive impacts on the lives of the masses and general development of the state.
The Buni administration will continue to invest on security to guarantee the safety of lives and property of the people as well as education, health, infrastructure, women and youth empowerment and agriculture to boost food security and creare more jobs in the sector.
