Dr Arabi Family Expresses Appreciation for Commiserations Over Sons’ Deaths
By Adamu Mohammed Dodo, Yola
…Thank you all for your heartfelt condolences and kind messages during this difficult time; your support and understanding have provided much-needed comfort to me and my family – Bawuro
Dr Abdulkadir Bawuro Arabi, the MD/BTM International Ltd has registered appreciation for the brotherhood, show of love and concern over the deaths of his lovely sons following a ghastly motor accident, which occurred in the evening of Thursday, December 21, 2023, along Lamido Zubairu Way, Yola Bypass, between Nigerian Law School and American University of Nigeria, AUN, Wuro-Hausa, Yola, Adamawa state, Nigeria.
Ahmad 19, a final year student of AUN and Amir 16, a student of Ahmadu Ribadu College, ARC Yola, who was about to register for SSCE, both fasting, joining the Monday and Thursday family devotion, were on a mission to get some fruits for iftar when their journey through life ended en route.
According to Dr Bawuro, “All I can say is, from Allah we come and to Him is our return, mine is not a regret but to appreciate Allah SWT who gave me the lovely sons and now takes back His own at the appropriate and appointed time, I only prayed that we as a parent have played our worthy, acceptable and rewarding roles as much as I pray that Allah in His infinite mercy would accept their martyrdom and grant them Jannatul Firdaus.
“We’re also waiting for the appointed time as Allah SWT promises in the Qur’an verse 29, chapter 57 that “Every soul will taste death. Then to Us will you be returned”.
The population of mourners was so overwhelming since the moment of the accident through the funeral rites on Friday, to the registered condolences, with families and friends trooping in from far and near.
AUN and ARC would consider unfortunate incidents as a black Thursday tragedy that claimed their diligent and dedicated students and to students, colleagues.
The family acknowledged the active participation of the management and staff of AUN, ARC, Modibbo Adama University Teaching Hospital, M.A.U.T.H, Yola and BTM International Ltd.
The United Nation-POLAC for which Dr Bawuro is a Peace Ambassador and the Chartered Institute of Contract, Project and Facility Management for which he holds Fellow membership among other professional bodies are worth mentioning for appreciation.
Recognised also are the Creating Thinking Minds, Building a Bountiful Society of Great People (A Critical Thinking group), Karewa GRA Primary School Alumni (One Love Family) group and the Periscope Global Publishers Ltd among other media organizations.
The roles of family members and friends as a group and individuals are indescribable, hence the appreciation immeasurable, Dr Bawuro would express.
In his words, “Thank you all for your heartfelt condolences and kind messages during this difficult time. Your support and understanding have provided much-needed comfort to me and my family.
“It is truly heartwarming to know that we have such a wonderful group of people, institutions and organisations standing by our side, offering words of sympathy and support. Your condolences mean a lot to us and remind us of the love and connection that we share as a community.
