Emnamu Foundation facilitates release of 51 inmates from Adamawa prisons

In the spirit of Christmas’s merriments a Yola based humanitarian organization, the Emnamu Foundation has facilitated the release of fifty one (51) prison inmates in Adamawa state.
The humanitarian gesture coincide with the birthday of the founder of the group, Dr.Emmmanuel Nathan Musa which put the bail bills of the 51 inmates from various correctional facilities across in the state for their freedom with 1000 patients also assisted with cash donations at Modibbo Adamawa Teaching hospital Yola.
Philanthropist Musa advised the inmates to change their characters for good as they move back to their various societies and involve themselves in to viable ventures.
While announcing the payment of their fines, Musa charged the inmates to go back to school for more education that would mould their ways of life admonishing them to take their matters as part of their destiny.
He encourage them to engage in skills that will be beneficial to them and their families, disclosing that he will work hand in hand with the command to provide them with equipment for training of inmates.
The Controller Adamawa command of the Nigeria correctional service Yola, Garba Abubakar Salha applauded the gesture of the philanthropist Musa for making it possible for the concern inmates to gain their freedom legally.
Controller Salha said that the move will assist in decongesting of the facilities urging other stakeholders to emulate the kind gesture of Philanthropist Musa.
“Adamawa state and this command is lucky to have a son like him and we appreciate this gesture as l call on others to emulate it”.Salha applauded
Speaking at the brief event,the Catholic Bishop of Yola Diocese ,Most Reverend Stephen Dami Mamaza who was part of the entourage described ,Dr Emmanuel Musa as some one who use his resources for the less privileged and called on other well meaning Nigerians to always considered the less privileged in the society.
Mamza said he always identifies with people who dedicate themselves for humanity just like Dr Emmanuel Musa.
While at the Modibbo Adama university Teaching hospital Yola and Specialist Hospital Yola, Dr Emmanuel Musa took time to reach out to patients on their sick beds with a cash donations to individual patient on every bed and wish them quick recovery.
Some of the beneficiaries thanked Musa for always coming to the plight of the masses in the areas of empowerment,provision of relief materials and giving freedom to inmates and prayed God to reward him abundantly.
Each of the fifty one (51) inmates were given ten thousand naira each as transport fare to their various destination by the president EMNAMU foundation.
