Failure to Reform Our Situation Prevents the Reformation of Nigeria – LCCN’s Archbishop

The chief evangelist and Archbishop of the Lutheran Church of Christ Nigeria (LCCN), Most Rev Musa Panti Filibus, has explained the situation in Nigeria that it will not improve unless the citizens change their behavior.
Archbishop Panti said this during the dismissal ceremony of the Church of the Brethren in Nigeria (EYN), he received the former president of the church, Rev. Joel Billi and his deputy, Rev. Anthony Ndamsai, at the church headquarters in Kwarhi in Hong LGA in Adamawa State on Saturday.
He went on to say, “Our situation is not good, so the National Anthem or any other person will not fix us, we have to fix our situation ourselves, failure to fix our situation is what prevents Nigeria from improving” He emphasized.
Earlier in his speech, Archbishop Musa Panti Filibus, congratulated the former president on the safe completion of his work, and asked the members of the church to avoid the mistakes made by the former president during his 6-year tenure.
He said: “Thank you for your life and dedication that you have shown, you deserve to be forgiven for all the mistakes you made during your leadership. new obedience, I am asking you EYN members” he said.
Speaking at the opening of the ceremony, the president of the church of Brethren Rev. Dr. Daniel Mbaya, said that the ceremony was organized to thank and celebrate the completion of the 34-year of service of Rev. Joel Billi acted as a worker of the church, he said his leadership has brought great progress to the church in different aspects, he said Rev Joel Billi is an exemplary leader,
Speaking at the ceremony Rev Joel Billi, thanked the organizing the event and said that he will continue to contribute to the development of the church whenever the need arises.
He also appreciated the contribution that the governor of the state, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, gave to the church in many aspects during his leadership, and thanked the members of the church and the people individually for their contribution to his success.
ng the event ceremony, the church and individuals gave special gifts and money as a tribute to the both of former president and vice president respectively.
