FCE Yola share palliatives to contract staff, Security guards & Cleaners to cushion hardship.

In an effort to curshion the economic hardship in the country,
the management of Federal College of Education (FCE) Yola has again distributed food item to it’s contract staff in the College.
Provost of the College,Professor Mohammed Usman Degereji in company of his management team distributed the palliative to 325 contract staff consisting of security guards,cleaners,messagers and 110 NCE 3 resident final year students.

Hajiya Aishatu Kadiri at the brief distribution ceremony held at the College’s professor Jibril Aminu hall on Friday, Degereji said the management and the Union leaders of the College decided to support them considering the hardship facing Nigerians nowadays.
Degereji charged them to dedicate themselves to their jobs noting that his management is having them in their hearts as members of the College’s family too.
He said the present economic realities caused by the fuel subsidy removal in the country informed his management decision to cushion the effects by intervening in the provision of the Cantons of Indomie noodles for the supporting staff and students.
In his response,the security coordinator of the College,Mr.Chinedu expressed delight with the gesture stressing that it will go a long way in alleviating their food challenges.
Another beneficiary,Haladu Abdullahi expressed gratitude to the management for the support urging his colleagues to reciprocate in their individual places of work in the College.
Abdullahi called on other administrators in the country to emulate the gesture of Professor Degereji’s style of leadership.
Our Correspondent reported that,325 of supporting staff was given one Canton of Indomie noodles each while 110 NCE final year students residing in the College’s hostel were given a Canton for two people respectively.
It could be recalled that few weeks back the College’s authority shared same palliatives to students in compuses worth N7Million.
