Gov. Buni Creates New Ministry of Livestock Development

His Excellency Yobe State Governor, Hon. Mai Mala Buni CON, has approved the creation of a new Ministry of Livestock Development with immediate effect.
This came as the Governor directed the Secretary to the State Government, the Head of Civil Service and Commissioner Ministry of Agriculture to work out the mandate of the new Ministry, office accommodation and deployment of staff to ensure immediate take-off of the Ministry.
This came to 3 full pledged Ministries created by Governor Mai Mala Buni in the past 6 years in addition to 13 agencies for improved service delivery to the people of Yobe State.
The creation of the new Ministry of Livestock Development underscores the Governor’s commitment to boost the state economic potential, towards enhancing livestock production and exportation, making Yobe a hub of livestock production in the North.
