The committee has been mandated to take over the management and operational oversight of the hospital and implement measures aimed at strengthening healthcare service delivery. It is also empowered to co-opt additional members where necessary to enhance its effectiveness.
Among its key responsibilities is to motivate staff towards improved commitment and professionalism while enforcing discipline and adherence to established standards in the health sector.
