Gov. Buni Lays Foundation of Multi-Billion Naira For Yobe City Mall Center

Yobe State Governor, Hon. Mai Mala Buni CON, has flags-off the foundation of a multi-billions naira of Yobe City Mall Center in Damaturu, the capital of the State.
At the groundbreaking ceremony of the project, the governor disclosed that the City Mall will pave way to poverty eradication, improve taxes generation and reduce the index number of youths into jobless in the state.
While laying the foundation, Gov. Buni reiterated the readiness of his administration in infrastructural development in the state and determination to deliver more dividends of democracy to the downtrodden.
He said: “Yobe as one of the most tidier state in the northern part of the country deserves massive infrastructure transformation to cater for the need of the Yobeans and improve the socio-economic well-being of residents of the city.”
Governor Buni further stated that the major breakthrough when completed is expected to provide over 500 retail shops, restaurants, movie theater, car park, warehouse, a motel and hotel, clinic, among other facilities that will be made available in the world class shopping mall the, 1st of its kind in the northeast.
He called on the contractor handling the project to ensure timely completion, adhere to the contract provision, use of quality materials as the government wouldn’t condone sub-standard work.
