Gov Buni Offers National Qur’anic Recitation Champion a House, Hajj Seat

In a remarkable display of support for religious scholarship, Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, has gifted the winner of the National Qur’anic Recitation Competition with a house and a fully sponsored Hajj seat.
Muhammad Muhammad Sani, a young reciter from Potiskum, emerged as the overall champion in the prestigious competition, which brought together the best Qur’anic reciters from across Nigeria. His exceptional performance earned him admiration and recognition.
During the award presentation, another top participant, Hafizi Muhammad, proudly showcased the car he received as a reward for his outstanding achievement in the competition.
Governor Buni, while presenting the gifts, praised the dedication and excellence of the young scholars.
He described their accomplishments as a great source of pride for Yobe State and encouraged other youths to pursue knowledge and religious education.
This generous gesture by Governor Buni highlights his administration’s commitment to nurturing young talents and promoting religious and educational values in the state.
