Gov. Buni Supports Family of Deceased Policeman, and Injured Security Personnel

Yobe state Governor Hon. Mai Mala Buni CON, has directed the purchase of a house worth N7.5 million to the family of the deceased policeman, Cpl Mohammed Maina, who was killed in an ambush on the governor’s convoy by suspected terrorists on the Maiduguri-Damaturu federal highway on Saturday.
Similarly, the sum of N2 million was provided to the family for their immediate needs in addition to N1 million provided for the children’s school fees.
The governor also approved N1million to each of the six other security men who sustained injuries.
Another N2 million was approved by Governor Buni to take care of their medical bills.
The family of the deceased and those injured were also supported with food items.
Governor Buni prayed for the repose of the soul of the deceased, and the quick recovery of those injured.
The Emir of Damaturu, His Royal Highness, Alh. Shehu Hashim ll Ibn Umar El-kanemi in company of the Special Adviser on Religious Affairs to the Governor, Ustaz Babagana Malam Kyari, presented the support to the family of the deceased policeman.
The Emir prayed for the deceased and consoled the family to consider the death of the deceased as the wish of Allah at His appointed time.
