The Yobe State House of Assembly has commenced legislative processes for the establishment of the Yobe State Great Green Wall Agency, following the presentation of an executive bill by Governor Mai Mala Buni’s administration.
The bill, which scaled second reading after extensive deliberations, seeks to institutionalize efforts toward afforestation, reforestation, land restoration, and environmental sustainability in the state.
Leading the debate, the Majority Leader of the House, Hon.
