Gov. Buni To Swear-In New Commissioners Saturday

In his determination to revitalise government operations for improved service delivery to the people in the second term, Governor Mai Mala Buni CON will perform the swearing-in/oath-taking ceremony of new commissioners in the state.

The significant event is scheduled to hold tomorrow Saturday, August 19, 2023, at the Banquet Hall, Government House Damaturu by 2:00 pm prompt.

The governor in the exercise of powers conferred on him by the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 as amended submitted the list of commissioner nominees to the state House of Assembly for screening.

All the commissioner nominees were confirmed by the state lawmakers after they were screened during their plenary presided over by the Hon. Speaker, Chiroma Buba Mashio.
