Gov. Buni urges members of NYSC to be patriotic, law-abiding

His excellency, Mai Mala Buni, the executive Governor of Yobe state addressed members of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) at the Permanent Orientation Camp in Nangere, where he encouraged them to serve the nation with dedication and unity.
Speaking at the swearing-in ceremony of NYSC Batch ‘C’ Stream 1, the Governor stressed the need for national cohesion and urged the Corps members to be law-abiding and patriotic Nigerians.
According to Signature TV, a media outlet in Nigeria, the Governor was represented by his Deputy, Idi Barde Gubana who commended the NYSC for its contribution to youth empowerment and national integration.
He congratulated the Corps members on their academic success and advised them to engage in camp activities, take the orientation course seriously, and develop self-confidence.

Additionally, the Governor assured the Corps members of their welfare and security, promising to upgrade the camp facilities and infrastructure.
He also donated bulls and cows for their consumption.
The State Coordinator of Yobe State NYSC, Mrs. Hafsat Yerima, appreciated the support of the state government and the good behaviour of the 1,115 registered Corps members.
