International Communication Week: Keep Reporting The Truth – Deputy governor of Adamawa

At the same time that the world is celebrating Journalists and Communication Week, the Deputy Governor of Adamawa State, Prof. Kaletawpa Farauta, has urged journalists to continue their work with the principles of journalism.

The deputy governor who was speaking at the St Augustine Catholic Church, on Sunday in Yola, during the commemoration of World 58th Communication Day organized by the Catholic Church, said that the report that the journalist will give can create peace together and can lead to Controversy or dispute as long as he does not do the right job.

This year’s Global Communication Week, which is titled “Artificial intelligence and the wisdom of the heart towards a fully human communication” focuses on improving Alaska and showing compassion to those in need.

Prof. Farauta urged the media to show expertise by spreading true stories, adding that despite modern technologies, “but we cannot eliminate human trafficking.”

“I am also grateful to the media, many of them paid great attention to the work. Most of you have covered up your exposure to dangerous situations in your reporting of events.

“We pray to God that the media will continue to report the true events in the world,” said Farauta.

Also speaking, the priest of the Catholic Church in the state, Bishop Stephen Dami Mamza, ordered Christians to stand firm and not accept any divisive idea, and to work to achieve the goal of Jesus Christ of unity. among followers.

In his speech, Dr. Stephen Maduwa, said that the media played a great role in the process of democracy, and he emphasized that the peace achieved in the state was the result of the role played by the journalists in the 2023 general election.

Also, Dr. Maduwa dedicated the new baby that was born to him to God for service during the festival, and he prayed to God to bless the families who want to give birth.
